IIUM Academy is now offering Bachelor of Business Management (Honours) in partnership with Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS). This degree programme is a part time programme designed specifically for working adults. The programme aims to equip graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills in communication, problem-solving and Islamic values in the business world.

Admission requirements

Entry Requirements for International Applicants

Requirements:

At least three principal passes in the General Certificate of Education “Advanced Level” (CGE) “A” Level Examination (UK Education System) obtained in one sitting or International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum of six subjects obtained in one sitting; and

A minimum C in Mathematics and

A minimum C in two other subjects or

A Foundation’s CGPA of 3.00 and above or its equivalent

Any other qualifications that are recognised by the Senate of the University as equivalent to the above.

Entry Requirements for Malaysian Applicants

 Qualifications Requirements
1. SPM

Passed SPM with five (5) credits including Mathematics and English.

Five (5) years of related working experience.
2. STPM

Passed STPM with at least three (3) principal passes obtained in one seating.

Two (2) years of related working experience.
3. Diploma Diploma / Matriculation Certificates from institutions recognized by International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
4. APEL Admission

Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements may sit for APEL Assessment by MQA.

Language Requirements

An English proficiency score of Band 5.5 on IIUM’s English Placement Test (EPT) or

A MUET proficiency score of Band 3 or

An IELTS proficiency score of Band 5.5.

Note: Applicants without MUET or IELTS will be scheduled to take EPT before the beginning of the 1st semester.

Programme Duration

Total duration of studies is approximately 4 years.

Each academic year consists of 2 standard semesters and 1 short semester.

Classes are held on alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and / or evening classes on weekdays.
