Postgraduate Programme

IIUM Academy offers selected postgraduate programmes in collaboration with the Kulliyyahs (Faculties) in IIUM. Some programmes are in the coursework mode and others in the research mode. The programmes have flexible arrangements that can suit those who need to combine working and learning commitments.

Coursework programmes are:

1. Master of Education (Educational Leadership and Management)
2. Master of Education (Teaching English as a Second Language)
3. Master of Science (Islamic Banking and Finance) – Modular

Research-based programmes are:

1. Master of Halal Industry Management
2. Master of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage (Quran and Sunnah)
3. Master of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage (Usul al-Din and Comparative Religion)
4. Master of Islamic Thought and Civilization
5. PhD (Halal Industry)       
6. PhD (Islamic Banking and Finance)       
7. PhD in Arabic Studies   
8. PhD in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage
9. PhD in Islamic Thought and Civilization

These research-based programmes allow students to be supervised remotely with a minimal residential requirement, which may be waivable in some cases.
