November and June of every academic year subjected to the school holiday schedules set by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia.
Malaysians who are currently serving as teachers in government schools and other institutions as well as other interested individuals.
A TOEFL score of 550 OR IELTS band of 6.0 OR a 6.0 score on the IIUM administered English Placement Test (EPT) for admission into the Master of Education.
A TOEFL score of 660 OR IELTS band of 7.0 OR a 7.0 score on the EPT for admission into the Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL).
A score of 7.0 on the IIUM administered Arabic Placement Test (APT) for admission into the Master of Education in Teaching of Arabic to Non-Arabic Speakers.
* The general academic requirements for admission into the Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) is a Bachelor’s Degree in any TESL / TESOL / TEFL or related area or equivalent degree from any recognized university.
